Tips for boosting your protein intake:

  1. spread your intake out throughout the day rather than eating all in one meal

  3. if you don’t like protein powder it’s not the end of the world, get your intake from real foods. Protein powder is a convenient way to boost your intake but shouldn’t be relied on as your only source of protein

  4. add protein to your snacks, having a piece of fruit? Add nuts, seeds or nut butter. Having vegetable sticks? Add some hummus or tahini. Having a smoothie? Add nuts, seeds, nut butter.

  5. eat from a wide variety of sources protein is found in plant foods such as wholegrains, nuts, seeds, legumes and beans you don’t have to just rely on only animal sources!
